The 9 things I wish someone told me when I gave my life to Christ- complete with bible verses

The list of  things I wish someone told me when I gave my life to Christ is inexhaustible so I took the 9 main ones that I really struggled with as I grew in Christ. Here is the list-
1.       That nothing would separate me from the love of God Not even demons can separate me from the love of God
Romans 8:38-39-For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

2.   All we had to do when we sin is confess to God and we would be forgiven.
1 John 1:9-If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

3.   Jesus is my lawyer
1 John 2:1  - My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.

4.   I was no longer under condemnation.

Romans8:1-2-Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. John3:20 If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. 21 Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God

5.   That God wants to give us all things.
Romans8:31-32-What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

6.   God is working things out for me.
Romans 8:28- And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose

7.   He would never leave me nor forsake me and He is always with me.

Hebrews 13:5-6 (NIVUK)- Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, ‘Never will I leave you;    never will I forsake you.’ So we say with confidence, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will Not be afraid.    What can mere mortals do to me?’

See also-Joshua 1:9, Matthew 28:20, Joshua 1:9

8.   Jesus would give me the strength that I needed to live this new life.
Philippians 4:13-I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

9.   God is my justifier
Romans 8:33 (KJV)-Who shall bring a charge against God’s electIt is God who justifies. -
